Today I WILL believe that the world is a beautiful place. I will believe that people are good and caring. I will choose to face adversity and stand tall. I will forgive those whom I hold a grudge against. I will believe that my smile is contageous and that it will travel the world on many different faces. This smile will never end because I believe it to be strong enuogh to conquer the hate and pessimism in the hearts of those who cannot yet smile. I will believe that it will come back to me when I am in need of it. All this goodness lives because I choose today to believe in it. I refuse to dream and wish for this because I wake up every morning with the free- will to make this choice. So-one last time- Today, I choose to believe that I have the potential to make a difference in the world one day at a time- one heartbeat at a time.
