Finish what you start

I really think what I can do to make the world a better place is finish those things that I start. I know I can do a lot for the world, for my family and for myself. I also know that conviction goes a long way. You’ve got to finish what you start and stick it out. Really give it your best. Things will come around if you do that.

The world without media

I seem to think I can pay less attention to the media, and the world will become a better place. The media is always blowing things out of proportion. Of course they help us out, and report news - but, often things are just taken out of context. It is important to make up your own mind about issues, if that is even possible any more.

Focus on what you can control

I find that when I am really unhappy, thats when things go wrong. It rubs off on people. I can tell that it affects everyone around me. I think maybe its some kind of karma thing. Regardless, I believe even though things are going very badly, sometimes you just have to control how you are - how you act, how you look at things, etc.

What is that saying life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it. I believe that is true, and I hope more people do as well.

Stop supporting War

I think although it is neccessary under some circumstances, in general the world would be a better place if we stopped supporting war. I know I do here in the U.S. just because its my country. If you think about it though, was isn’t really getting us anywhere. We are killing other people and they are killing us. I just wish there was another way somtimes to come to a general understanding with other countries and people.

Money isn’t everything

Every day, every thing is about money.

I hate it and I am sick of it. I want people to remember how to care about each other. I want people to forget about the numbers for maybe 20 seconds a day. Forget about the sales.

People will see that in the end, money isn’t the end all be all. It is a diversion and it is a game.

People are worth more than what money is worth.
